Hollow Side of the Abyss

Axel, tired of his own life, made a pact with a soul-devouring demon, who promised to change his life in exchange for his soul. Upon acquiring the human soul, the soul-devourer gained access to the higher world, and Axel was pulled into purgatory in his place. The soul-devourer absorbed all the humans, except for Axel, who must fight the souls devoured by the demon in purgatory and absorb them to escape and confront the demon in the higher world.
